Imam & Director

Dr. Ahmed Elmamlouk was born in 1969 in Alexandria, Egypt. A hafiz of the Qur’an, he earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alexandria, a Master’s degree in Islamic Sharia accredited through Al-Azhar University, and a Ph.D. in Jurisprudence and Its Principles from American Open University, where he also serves as a professor of religious studies.

With more than 30 years of experience as an imam, teacher, counselor, and lecturer, Dr. Elmamlouk has served Muslim communities in Qatar and across the United States. He has led prayers, delivered sermons and lectures in both English and Arabic, supervised master’s and doctoral candidates, and authored several books and educational materials in Islamic studies. His work has also included interfaith outreach, youth and family education, prison chaplaincy, and community counseling.
